- IBFAN's Role to protect, promote and support breastfeeding-One Asia Breastfeeding Partners Forum, Sri Lanka Colombo, 18-21 November 2009 At the opening ceremony of the One Asia Breastfeeding Partners Forum, he presented the role of IBFAN and how it works to protect mothers and children from commercial influence. IBFAN provides a voice to the infants and works around the world to alert health professionals, parents and caregivers to risks of artificial feeding and benefits of optimal breastfeeding . Highlighting silence around risks of formula feeding, and how IBFAN plays a watchdog role , he made a strong plea to join IBFAN's new campaigns, the "One Million Campaign" and "The World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative (WBTi).
- Conflict of Interest- One Asia Breastfeeding Partners Forum, Sri Lanka Colombo, 18-21 November 2009 Spoke on conflicts of interests at the One Asia Breastfeeding Partners Forum held in Colombo Sri Lanka, highlighting the presence of conflicting interests in the international and national policy making urging the nations to develop a clear guidance on this issue. Many examples were shared particularly emerging partnerships at UN and other bodies which promote public private partnerships and lead to conflicts of interests.
- The World Breastfeeding Trend Initiative (WBTi)-Al Ain UAE. 13-14 November 2009 Presented World Breastfeeding Trends Initiative (WBTi) at the Arab World conference and talked about " one Million campaign Support Women to Breastfeed" by presenting the campaign video.

Kapoor Memorial Hospital, Delhi, 30 June 2009 This is a presentation that Dr Arun Gupta made at a meeting of pediatricians and obstetricians of BL kapoor Memorial hospital for taking steps towards ensuring breastfeeding properly.
